A BIG Thank you to School Supply donors!

Thanks to you all of our children will start school with the tools they need and uniforms that fit!

Thank You

Who doesn’t love a Backyard BBQ? The women at Montgomery Women’s Facility received an awesome treat this month, thanks to generous donors via facebook. AIM asked for donors to help sponsor a pizza party for the women at the Montgomery Women’s Facility and they answered our plea. Due to some logistics we were not able to have the pizza party, but we used the donations for a Backyard BBQ with hot dogs, chips, cupcakes and soda. It was such a lovely event and the women really enjoyed it. Without those who donated this event would not have been possible.

Special thank you to Burton Crenshaw, Ashley Penhale, Jackie Provo, Carol Lasater and other generous donors for making financial contributions. Even the officers helped grilling over 600 hot dogs for the ladies. We would also like to thank Warden Givens for allowing us to sponsor the event.

Visitation

Independence Day came a little late to Tutwiler and the Montgomery Women’s Facility visit this year, but the patriotic spirit was still strong! Children and Moms had a great time decorating sun visors, making Eagle hangings and wearing silly hats!  We had two tiny babies–one a newborn–and two July birthdays to celebrate!

Special Moment

This mom got to enjoy the weekend with two of her children. It was a special occasion because it was her son’s birthday. She has not seen her children in over four years. It was a happy reunion for everyone.
