This year is monumental as we celebrate our 35th Anniversary “Time of Our Lives”
Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the RSA Activity Center.
We are not only celebrating 35 years of service to incarcerated women—especially those with children—but also a double retirement! After 25 years, Executive Director Carol Potok & Assistant Director Larnetta Moncrief-Harvey are retiring.
We plan to commemorate the passing of their batons with a successful fundraiser by meeting our goal of $60,000!!! Yes, $60,000– that’s $35,000 for each year of service and $25,000 for the 25 years of dedicated service from Carol & Larnetta.
With your help, AIM will continue to provide the same evidenced-based programs such as Storybook, Monthly Visitation, Parenting Classes, Restorative Justice Classes, Reentry Programs, transitional housing, prison hygiene donations, and a host of other services. We have helped well over 10,000 women and children over these past 35 years and we are well known as a major provider to women in all of Alabama’s women’s’ facilities. We have had the fortunate experience of serving children who are now leading successful lives as adults.
