Executive Director | carol@inmatemoms.org

Carol brings 33 years of professional experience in social work; primarily in jobs serving the poor. Carol has a heart for the plight of people with no voice and a deep compassion for children in need. She came on board with AIM in 1997 as Director, and has expanded the program to include reentry training for the women, and include more outreach to children, as well as overseeing the purchase and opening of our transitional home, Genesis House. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Deputy Director, Program Coordinator | larnetta@inmatemoms.org

Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, Larnetta joined the staff as Program Coordinator in 1997 and was given the additional title of Deputy Director in 2006. For nearly 23 years, Larnetta has coordinated the children’s programs for AIM and brings her magnetic personality, strong ethics and passionate heart for children to the agency.

ARESET/Job Readiness Coordinator  | casemanager@inmatemoms.org

Danielle Cook joined the staff in spring of 2020 after completing  her undergraduate studies  at University of Alabama in Criminal Justice. Danielle is responsible for the ARESET programming providing job preparation, job readiness and job retention for women who are residents of our transitional home and in the community.

Reentry Coordinator | donna@inmatemoms.org

Donna joined the staff after completing an internship with AIM during her studies as a social work student at the University of Alabama. She is originally from Tuscaloosa and served 4 years in the military before attending school and settling in the Montgomery area with her husband. Donna coordinates the Project Reconnect program in the prisons, the WHI FI program, and oversees our new transitional house.

Deborah joined AIM as a Mentor Coordinator in January 2017. She has a juris doctor degree and served in private practice and the judiciary for 19 years in Missouri. Since her retirement, she contributes her experiences and knowledge to social justice and community issues. She relocated to Alabama two years ago and lives in the area with her husband.

HIV Education Coordinator and Case Manager |nicholaspaulette@gmail.com

Paulette has worked for AIM for about ten years teaching HIV prevention education and connecting recently released women with HIV to resources. She has a BS in Criminal Justice.
