We are honored to announce that AIM will receive the Leadership Montgomery Unity Award in April! The Unity Award is a Leadership Montgomery award recognizing collaborations that build bridges, foster understanding, and enhance the River Region community.
The award was precipitated by the successful efforts of Leadership Montgomery Founders Lanny Crane, George Goodwyn, Sr., J.M. “Mike” Jenkins, IV and Solomon Seay (deceased) to partner with other individuals to make our community a better place for all its citizens.
Martha Hawkins will speak at the breakfast about successfully overcoming personal struggles with mental illness and raising a family as a single mother. For tickets follow this link:

It wasn’t the Easter Bunny hopping around at Tutwiler, but lots of kids were; here, there, everywhere! Moms and kids enjoyed lunch and games, hugs and kisses!
Happy Easter from the families at the Montgomery Women’s Facility. We said good-bye to another family at Montgomery Women’s Facility, but we welcomed new volunteers Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe for helping us out at the visit serving food and taking pictures!
