AIM High Scholarship

In 2017 AIM received a grant from the Rockwood Mycelium Fund, to use for existing programs or to establish a new one.  AIM is currently able to offer $300 dollar scholarships to the children of incarcerated mothers who participate in the AIM Visitation Program. Students must complete a essay about themselves and what they would use the scholarship for. Our first recipient is Miss. T.C from Opelika, AL. She currently attends Albany State University.

Visitation at Tutwiler

This month at Tutwiler we had a special meal cooked by our volunteer, Carol Lasater–ham, mashed potatoes and green beans, with fruit and rolls…cookies for dessert! It was cold outside, but the families had a great time together! Volunteers Sharon Christman and Gaile Randall helped the children make snowflake prints.  Alexis Morris played hot potato with the children, and Cassandra Carroll took photos and printed them.

Montgomery Women’s Facility

Chilly outside, warm hugs and kisses inside! Families bonded over games and good conversation. We even celebrated a birthday!

Thank You Guys and Dolls
